8月10日至12日，我院音乐系三位教师赴美国加州大学洛杉矶分校参加了为期三天的2016年第十一届艺术协会国际会议Eleventh International Conference on the Arts in Society (2016)。其中，张伊瑜老师撰写的论文“The Transnationalism of Bossa Nova: The Influence of Brazilian Popular Urban Music in Asia”、陈丽华老师撰写的论文“Cantonese folk songs in China”及徐静莹老师撰写的论文“The Voice from Spiritual Inner World——The Art in Guanyin Song of  Buddhism Music”通过会议审核并发表，三位老师应邀前往美国洛杉矶参加会议并分别在会议上宣读论文。

此次The Art in Society(2016)国际研讨会邀请了世界各地艺术学者进行现场交流，我院音乐系三位教师在本次国际会议中发表论文，不仅体现了我院艺术学术研究水平的提升，更进一步提高了我院的国际知名度。
